How Donations Are Utilized

At Ahead of the Tide, every donation plays a vital role in furthering our mission of environmental sustainability,  marine advocacy, community development, and stewarding god's creation. When a donated asset, such as a vessel or coastal property, is liquidated, it may be sold at a discounted rate to a buyer under a structured no-interest lease agreement. This approach allows for responsible asset transition while maintaining the donor’s charitable intent. The proceeds from these transactions are directly applied to stimulating current initiatives such as:

• Coastal cleanup efforts and marine conservation projects
• Sustainable infrastructure and community-based environmental programs
• Research and innovation in renewable energy solutions for marine travel
• Educational outreach and advocacy for responsible ocean stewardship

When feasible, donated assets may be repurposed for active use within the non-profit.
